Odd Flora Arts Website
For this Best Practice, I spent the better part of the spring 2018 semester building everything in this website.

I wanted to teach myself how to incorporate my own images into the architecture of the website. I started with pen and ink, scanned my finished drawings and uploaded into Adobe Illustrator for the clean up process. I spent a great deal of time working in Illustrator to get the quality right and spent hours redrawing and redesigning every little piece to get it exactly how I wanted.

The reason I included this into my best practices is due to the fact that I believe it incorporates the best part of good design. I created a meaningful website that is easily accessible and visually appropriate for the theme/style I was trying to go for.
This video is a quick run through of my finished website and it showcases all the work that went into building this. I believe having an aesthetically pleasing website is crucial to keeping viewers engaged.
